A Squirrelly Connection

A little time and facebook stalking lead me to seeing this:
http://www.alphagam.org/

I was going to put us on there but decided I should ask y'all first. haha I don't want to air anyone's "dirty laundry" or what not. But I just though tit was cool. If nothing else, it'll give us something to read every once in a while. And in the spirit of AGD's connecting:

I should have played the lottery...

Yesterday, I could have won the lottery. Actually...I am almost 100% sure I WOULD have won if I'd bought a ticket. Why you ask? Well, because yesterday was the only day in my whole life when it seemed like whatever I said/thought...happened!! I felt like I was on Aladdin or something. My wish was a bunch of random strangers' command! Friday started out as a normal morning. Woke up semi-late (who's shocked?) went to clinic. Did the whole ear thing, went to the store, and came home. I was planning on taking a nap and then hopefully getting someone to watch the WVU/Marshall game with me that night. Well that all changed around 1:30. I am walking into my house and Whitney calls me and is freaking out asking me what I'm doing that night? I told her my wild and crazy plans of napping and football and she replied with "No, you're not! how would you like a ticket to George Strait/Reba concert in Lexington for free!?!?!" Well after I peed my pants a little I am like What in the world? how did this happen?? Especially for free!! Well she then explains how her friend Beth knows someone that has 5 extra tickets to the concert and doesn't want any money for them. He just wants to get rid of them. Well that's where we come in! She asked Whitney to go and if Whit had anyone else that could go. Well she thought of me (I knew I was friends with her for a reason! haha) and said it would be perfect because we could ride together and all that jazz. So after I am like "uhh, yes who are the mountaineers?! take me to Reba!!!" she calls Beth back and we are supposed to get the rest of the information in a little bit. Well the whole time I'm waiting to hear back I'm thinking there is no possible way this is going to happen....especially for no money. Why would the guy not try to sell the tickets or at least give them to people he actually knows! Well about 40 minutes later Whitney calls me and tells me to be ready at 5 because we are heading to Lex! Whitney is supposed to meet the guy early in Louisville (he works there) and get the tickets since Beth and the crew coming with her will be late. I am like beyond excited. George Strait is a total babe and Reba...uhh duh she's Reba! They are like only the most amazing country singers ever. So around 5 we head off to Lexington jamming to Reba and George the entire way. Which only makes us more excited because we apparently have forgotten that they both have like 5000 popular/amazing songs.
We get to Lexington and we get a spot right out front of Rupp...and don't have to pay. Which is just another great addition to our day. We make our way inside and keep joking that the tickets are going to end up being fake or something. Well, good news, they weren't! We got right in and made our way to our seats. Section 230. They had the very top rows blocked off but we were pretty much in the last row that they were sitting people. But 1. who cares because we were there 2. the tickets were $Free.99 and 3. GEORGE AND REBA! So we are sitting there waiting on LeAnn Womack to open and just wasting time listen to the radio show hosts, J.D. and some girl don't know her name (you'll understand why I know his in a second) on the stage talking about some contest they are starting Monday. We are seriously the only people within three rows and we make the statement more than once about how we wish we were sitting on the empty seats on the floor or how cool it would be to win tickets down there. So LeAnn starts singing about how she's going to hate herself in the morning and hoping we dance and all that when this man come up to me and Whitney and says "scoot over let me sit down" and wedges himself between us. My first thought it "Ewww, you old creepy man. Get away" But before I could express that we start this conversation:

"So what's you alls names"- guy I think is a creep
We tell him.
"Oh, I'm JD."my thoughts go to uhhh wait wasn't the radio guy's name JD is something awesome about to happen?!?
so I blurt out "No, you're not!"
he's like "Yep, so wow, these seats really suck don't they? I bet you wish you were down there" (and he points to the floor seats)
again I blurt out "ARE YOU ABOUT TO GIVE US TICKETS!!!"
"Nah, why would I do that?"
Whitney replies "THEN WHY ARE YOU HERE!?!" (hahaha!!)
"I mean I just have these (pulls tickets out of his shirt pocket) but you would have to
walk alllllll the way down there. Why would you want to do that? You'd have to be so close and I mean why would you want these tickets"
"AHHHHHH!OMG! OMG! WHAT?!"
"Here you go girls. Have fun. We wanted to find the person with the worst seats. (told you they were horrible) I saw some people over there with 4 people but didn't want to split them up (thank you Whitney's friends for not being there yet) so it looks like you all are the winners. Enjoy the show!"
He hands whitney the tickets and seriously just disappears basically. Well we are FREAKING
OUT! We jump up and pretty much run to our new and improved, FRONT ROW SEATS!!!!!!!!!!! We sit down and are like loving life. But then I think we probably should give the tickets to Beth since she got us the tickets. But Whitney says it's fine since someone gave her the tickets and I'm like well ok you talked me into staying down here. So we enjoy the last couple minutes of Leann and pinch ourselves to see if it's real life. Seriously, I was looking around for Ashton Kutcher to pop out and tell us we were Punk'd.

Then during intermission before the Reba we become BFF with the bouncer, Pat, and he gives us all the inside info about the concert. Like he knew down to the minute what was going to happen. haha weird. Anyway, then Reba comes on and sings about lossing man, after man, and I am like soaking in the glory of it all.

Then LeAnn Womack came back out and her and Reba sang Does he Love you? Which is like my most favorite Reba song ever.
Then my second most favorite song was played and I had to tape it because my sister and I used to know EVERY word to this and would drive Deb insane singing it 24/7 just because...even if it wasn't on the radio we would sing literally the entire song (sorry about my singing that you can hear):

Then Barbara Jean from the Reba show came out and was HILARIOUS!!! And out of control and I loved every second of it.

Then Reba came out for an encore with Fancy. And all I can say is Fancy, you did not let us down. Especially Whitney who looked at me at one point, holding her hand in the sign for I love you and said to me "TELL REBA YOU LOVE HER!" turned and held her "i love you" hand up to Reba! HAHAAH

Then another intermission filled with chatting with Pat and our friends beside us. (they won their tickets through the radio station "The Bull" because the husband dressed up like a Bull and the wife lead him around...EMBARRASSING! You should have seen his face when he found out all we did was get lucky to get ours) Then the man, the myth, the legend and total Silver Fox- George Strait. He was awesome and what a babe. But he did all those classics he does and again, we loved every minute of it.

Who would ever check "No" to George Strait....He is a hunk in those Wranglers. (don't know why it's a baby video)
Needless to say...it was awesome and a much needed surprise/break from real life. I can't even tell you have many times whitney said "Lindsay, what is this day?!?!?" Which was exactly how I felt too! Told you something big was about to happen in my life. haha not really. Somehow I don't think this was it but still a good story. Also as a sidenote: though , from what I hear, WVU did not deserve a win last night...THEY GOT ONE! WOOOO!! Still undefeated against Marshall! Marshall had been winning the entire game but thanks to a fumble in the last 35 seconds, a miracle td, a two point conversion, OT, and the fact that God loves the Mountaineers, they pulled out the Win! WOOOHOOO. But that was the end of our good day because Whit got a speeding ticket at 1:30 on our way home but it was a good 12 hours of good times. Oh well, Friday, 9/10/10, I love you forever.

Why I love my job...

Oh. Hey blog. In case any of you need a smile today... and because I do not feel like doing anything productive... I thought I would share with you some of my favorite quotes I have heard from my students so far....

1st day of school
Me: Did you have a good summer?
Student: Yes but sissy's ( her aunt that I went to school with) puppy had to get stitches.
Me: Oh I am so sorry to hear that. I hope she is ok.
Student: Yea she's ok, she just started her period and they had to go in and sew everything up.

Because we all know I am a germ- a- phobe and give my kids hand sanitizer before lunch and snack...
Student: Ya know Ms. Norris, this sand hanitizer stinks!

After having laryngitis for about a week and constantly sipping on coffee because my throat hurt, I bent down to work with a student and...
Student: Shew Ms. Norris, did you brush your teeth today??
Me: Yes I am sorry, do I have coffee breath?
Student: Yes and I really think you should stop drinking that coffee. I think you are becoming addicted.

After coming back from labor day weekend and getting my voice back...
Student: Ms. Norris, Ms. Norris, you finally found your voice!!

Me: Oh Student, you sure can make me laugh.
Student: Really? Most people just tell me that I am cute.

Student: But I have to take my medicine before bed. It is the only thing that knocks me up.

Needless to say I love me job =) I will keep you posted on anymore funny quote from my wild 6 year olds!

Life.....

Hello my lovely ladies,

So as per request from Lindsay and because I'm bored I've decided to updated my favorite girls on my life (although most of you probably already know everything I'm getting ready to say.) I'm offically a Louisville resident and so far it hasn't been a fairy tale by any means. I get lost a lot, I am alone a lot, me and D.C. annoy each other a lot, and I miss my family and friends back home A LOT. I'm hoping once I make some more friends here, and get a job (which seems to be impossible since I've contacted like 10 places and no one will get back to me) it will get better. HOPEFULLY. My classes are just so-so right now, but I do have a funny story about one of them. The other day a girl raised her hand in my Abnormal Psych class....there's about 100 people in there.....the largest class I have.....and she asked what the difference was between having your period and a psychological disorder, because she said all girls were crazy during that time of the month! lol hahahahha Seriously?!?! I must be an advanced student because I immediately knew the answer to that lol

On yet another sad note, (I know I'm Debbie Downer) my grandpa aka my Ghiddy hasn't been doing well at all and the doctor and hospice nurses have told us that it's only going to be a matter of time :( Needless to say I'm not dealing well with this since I've been super close to him all my life. However, the other day I was up at his house and I kept giving him bagel chips and he kept waiting til I wasn't watching then putting them in his cup of water! haha We have to laugh about it or we'll cry....atleast he still makes up smile :) If you all would put him and my grandma in your prayers I'd really appreciate it.

I thought I'd end with a happy bit of information. Chloe (my adorable 4 month old niece) just had her first set of pictures taken and they are beyond adorable!! Sara hasn't got them back yet, but I've seen them online. When I get mine I will post them so you can see her and smile too!

Anyways, I miss all of you VERY VERY much and I very much could use a girls weekend right about now so whenever we all have a free weekend lets all get together because I NEED YOU GIRLS SO BAD! Things were so different when I was in Lexington and had you all around to help me talk through and work through all my problems. You all are wonderful! I hope everything is going well with all of you and I can't wait to see you girls! LOVE YOU!

Fall is in the air!!!

Ohhh can you feel it? Fall is right around the corner which makes me so very excited I could scream!!! But I won't, because that would just be silly. I cannot wait for fall to be here. Especially after this summer. Sweltering heat, sweat stains, and frizzed out "i stuck my finger in a light socket" hair is not my idea of a good time. This summer has been absolutely miserable on the temperature end (and the school end but I won't bother you with details of how I was buried under books about ears all summer instead of under sand) which is why I think I am more excited for fall than ever. I mean I love everything about it.

and the clothes...especially the clothes!

orange-girls.JPG.jpg

jcrew-catalog-fall-1.jpg

Fall fashion is by far my favorite. So long swimsuit, bring on the light sweaters, boots/flip flops (best of both worlds because sometimes it's warm/sometimes it's not!), cordorouy, leggings with skirts, jeans, ahh I could go on...! But also the football. Which is weird because I went to like 4 football games the whole time I was at UK. Well 3.5 (Jane Ann-if you'll recall leaving like 5 minutes into a game so we could go to Joe Bologna's haha...so I guess food trumps fall on my list of likes). Anyway, this week it has been cooling down (82 instead of 102) and it got me thinking about the change of the seasons and how I wish it was 55-65 degrees 340 days a year (the others would break down into 20 days for hot weather and 1 day [which would be Christmas or the middle of Hanukkah depending on who is reading this :)] for snow). If this place exists, let me know because I need to go there immediately.

Next, I just have to address my love/obsession fall decorations. Oh my goodness. They make my heart smile, which means we are officially getting old when a scarecrow and bail of hay can make me so excited. in my opinion, it just looks so fun and welcoming and makes a house look 100x better. But it has to be fall-ish....not halloween. Example:

LOVE:
LOVE:

Ewww..creepy. Frankenstein called he wants his decorations back. HATE:

Anyway, in like 20 years when I have a house and a porch and a little family. I am so decorating the crap out of it!! (This is the point in the blog where I realize I am already becoming my mother, so thanks deb for your love of seasonal decorations:)) And how could I have forgotten to mention fall activities?!?! AHH! Pumpkin patches, corn mazes, pumpkin festivals. All so fun! And they all lead to Halloween which means FUN costumes, which then leads to Thanksgiving and all the food and my Birthday which finally leads to Christmas/Hanakkah which leads to the start of a brand new year of possibilities!!! Fall just opens the door to everything I love most about the year!! :)

Ok enough with that. The main reason I am so excited for fall is because I feel like something BIG is about to happen in my life. Don't ask me why, because I honestly don't know. But have you ever gotten that feeling where you feel like God is about to do something great in your life? It's right around the corner and is just going to blow you away?? Maybe it's because my life has been so boring and un-blog worthy lately that I think something HAS to make it interesting soon or maybe God is just cooking up something huge for little ol' me. Either way, I don't know what it is but the philosophical Black Eyed Peas said it best, I got a feeling... and I can't wait to see what it is!!! I'll keep ya updated! :)

So I've ranted about fall enough, and I realize I sound like a 70 year old geriatric but I don't care because if Fall is what it takes to get a little excitement around here, then I'll take it! :) But now I'm going to rant about seeing you. Because listen people, I'm really sick of that picture at the top of this page so let's get together and make a new one (preferrably wearing fall clothes!). Come to Louisville. If anyone didn't know Amanda lives here now so if you come you'll get two for the price of one trip! YAY! And Louisville has lots of fun fall activities (aka apple picking at Hubers winery/pumpkin patches/I'll rake some leaves that you can jump in if it'll get you here) Anyway, miss you all so very very much so blog about your lives so I feel updated!:)
And speaking of Fall:

Wow, it's been awhile...

Ok, so clearly we've all been super busy with lives because this blog is getting neglected. So as I sit and procrastinate, per usual, I figured I'd show it some lovin'. Only problem, I have nothing to write about. Some ol' cycle...Sleep, school, study. Oh there was a small case of identity fraud I've had to deal with. Yep, someone wanted to be me. I know, you are probably asking yourself, "Who wouldn't want to be you?" and to that I say "Good point!" (haha kidding) But seriously, someone done went on a spending spree at a California Wal-mart with my card. I have two things to say about that:
1. I mean if you are going to use someone's card information at least do something cool. Don't get me wrong, I like Wal-mart as much as the next guy, but I mean if you are just going to spend whatever you can...at least go to Target.
2. Why would someone try to break into my bank account? I mean, I know that babysitting job I got going on the side looks extravagant but I assure you, Mr. Fraud-man...you are simply wasting your time. haha

Anyway, it was a huge mess and turns out like 10 people in my whole 25 people program got their information stolen to. We traced it back to the only place we'd all been together and I called. They said they already knew...the Secret Service had informed them. WOW. That's big time stuff. Anyway, someone had hacked in to their account and stolen everyone's numbers. I say all this to say, it was the bar we went to when Gina and Jane Ann were in town. So keep checking your statements because it's fixed now but if they already have your card numbers I'm assuming they can use them?! I don't know, I'm no expert but I do know that the fact that they had to send my new debit card to my permanent address first before my mom could mail it to me...is super annoying.

So moving on, I figured since I couldn't think of anything really good to write I would post things that make you happy. (and if they don't make you happy, well they make me happy so get over it :) )

Play this song while you watch the thing below it...makes it so much better and will def. make you HAPPIER!!! :) (don't actually watch this Glee video..just didn't know how to put a song in)
Your pictures and fotos in a slideshow on MySpace, eBay, Facebook or your website!view all pictures of this slideshow

I had tears running down my face for the following...

Ok, I know that was just wrong but HILARIOUS! And, anyway there is another video that shows that he actually made it so it's fine!

hahaha!!! Hilarious! And I don't even like cats but this is funny...

Haha, well that was fun.

Ok, now you all get to blogging. I clearly have nothing to say but need to procrastinate. Miss you lots! Hope those made you as happy as they made me (especially of the one of Kuhlmann). Now, I'm going to go completely ruin the mood by studying. Hasta la vista.

Zack Attack said it best...

AWKWARD MOMENT ALERT: So before I get to the real post, I have an awkward moment to share with you. Last night we had Bar Golf Pub Crawl and I decided I would drive Seth instead of play. So everyone is shat-faced wasted and I’m like just beboppin’ around in my argyle socks totally sober. Well one of the older guys, Mahaffey, is telling me to get with this guy they call “Creepy Dave”…What. In. the. World. Who would want to “get with” someone that is described as creepy. (the guy telling me this said he didn’t know that they called him that –Creepy Dave is a friend of someone in the program not actually in). Anyway, so he is telling this to me and Seth (who is way wasty-face) and when I say no to creepy dave he goes “Wait! Why don’t you two date!?” (puts his hands up so we have to stop walking) and goes “Now, that is just too cute!” I wanted to die. I’m like umm I don’t think so. And seth’s like naw man, we go way back. And they guys like “So! Me and Katherine (his wife) were best friends for a year and a half before we dated!!!” and me and seth are both so awkward we have no idea what to say and then he goes “Wait, oh, did I just make things awkward, well sorry!” then starts walking away from us and me and Seth are just standing there like oh my gosh, what do we say now. Hahaha What if I would have said “Heck no! He drove me insane when we spent only a week together, how could I date him!” Anyway, I don’t know if any of you have ever been in that situation but it reached a whole new level of awkward.

The real post:

Ok, so as I start to study for my finals and finish out my first year of grad school, I can't help but be in disbelief that we have already been out of school and away from each other for a whole year. It seems like just last week. Wow, how the time has flown. I was already thinking about this when it was like TBS was reading my mind and they played one of the greatest episodes of Saved By The Bell ever the other morning (side note: what a great show, what horrible acting, what AMAZING outfits/hair). It was the one where they sing as Zack Attack and for some reason Jessie isn't there and no one cares because she is stupid but they have this world-wind of fame and then fight and then become best friends again because it’s silly to let fame come between them. Anyway, it's funny since they apparently are good at everything. For example: they are on every sports team, in every activist group, on every club, and still have time to tour the country in a rock-n-roll band...now THAT is livin' the dream. Anyway...back to the point. As they were singing the Grammy-worthy "Friends Forever," I was thinking about how their friendship reminded me of our friendship and how Mom Retha was like our own Mr. Bellding. I mean think about all the times we hung out at the Max, or how we always got so excited for all 800 proms we went to, or how one of us could call “Timeout” and freeze everything so we could make a quick solution, or how about the time one of us got addicted to those prescription meds when we were in that all girl singing group…I mean those were some great times!!!….ok, so maybe those aren’t the same memories we all had but those are my favorite episodes/moments so deal with it. One thing we did have in common though is their fears about graduation. I mean just 12 months ago we were thinking like this....

Sure change every “high school” to college and every “Bayside” to UK and you have a regular old song about us! How in the world were we going to say goodbye to our friends that we had spent the last four years with? I know I was a little confused how I would replace roommate talks with Britney with roommate talks with Manny (he gives terrible advice)? And how was I supposed to just walk over to Gina, Jane Ann, and Amanda’s when they were living hours away. (Don’t get me wrong, I like to exercise but that’s a little excessive). I mean, I was all for the idea of moving in to Aylesford with everyone and becoming old maids together but apparently that was a bad idea. So we all went our separate ways but our friendship has so far proven the test of time. Like the song says “but years from now no matter where we've traveled, we'll all look back and think about our friends”…uhh hello…that’s us!!! There isn’t a time that I think about my experiences at UK that I don’t think about one of y’all. We had the best times, even when we were doing nothing. I think it is so awesome that we have all stayed in touch. Even if we haven’t talked for a couple months, weeks, or days, we can just pick right back up where we left off. Because that’s how best friends are! Unfortunately, it wasn’t like Saved By The Bell where we all mysteriously ended up at the same place and don’t know about it until we are all in the same dorm room (weird how they didn’t know they were all going to the same college). Anyway, we actually did have to say goodbye but it’s totally fine because even though I would love to have you here with me at ALL times, I know you are just a phone call away ready to listen, give advice, or just laugh with. So because of that, we will be friends forever…and hopefully, like Zack Attack, not even becoming giant celebrities would tear that apart. So here it is…enjoy. I included the lyrics because I didn’t actually know what the verses were saying but turns out it’s a pretty good song! Haha (I highlighted my fav lines)

We met some time ago, when we were so young. we've been through thick and thin, We've lost, we've tied, we've won.

Friends forever, With you everywhere. Friends forever, Always will be friends.

If you're down, I'll pick you up, I'll never let you fall. If you ever need someone,I'm waiting for your call.

We'll be friends forever, We'll be friends, Talkin' 'bout friends.. Always will be there, Will be there. Will be there.

Through it all, hangin' tough,We'll stay side by side. We'll be friends forever, Til' the end of time.

Friends forever,We'll be friends, Talkin' 'bout friends.Always will be there,Yeah, yeah friends. Always be friends. We'll be friends together. Yes we will, Yes we will, Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oohhhh.

Oh, also, I did not video tape this...I found it like this...just to clarify that I'm not that big of a d-bag.. Love you all so so so so so so much. Can’t wait to see you next week and Britney I wish you could be here so bad! We will miss you and be thinking about you, getting ready to ace those finals!!! So before you get back to your busy lives, take a Zack Morris style Timeout and reminisce about our wonderful times together, it will bring smiles to your face (hopefully)!!! J

I really pulled it off!!!!!!!!!!!

So the time is now 2:15 am and I can't sleep so I thought what better to do than write on the blog! As you know April 1st was on Thursday and I can't say that I have ever been one for pranking on April Fools. I mean I probably tried some lame prank on my brother growing up, but I'm sure it didn't work because 1) I am not very sneaky and 2) I can't lie. But Thursday night Sarah and I pulled off the ultimate prank!
We were sitting around our apartment and looking up pranks online and trying to think of who we could prank. Well there were no good pranks and we couldn't think of anyone to prank so we kind of gave up. Later that night we came up with the idea that we should post it someone's car, but who's? Sarah had a bunch of post its left over from her prank last year and we decided to add an extra special touch by going to the store and buying maxi pads! We drove to the garage where we park for work and proceeded to post-it and maxi pad our bosses car. I am not even kidding I felt like I was about to pee my pants for the entire hour while we were covering her car! We didn't want to just leave and not see her reaction so we hid out in Sarah's car and watcher for her. We were sitting in the car for about 45 minutes and it was awesome because all these people were walking past the car and taking pictures and saying, "Thank god that's not my car!". So then our boss walks out the door and sees her car and there were two guys standing and taking pictures of it. She spent about 20 minutes taking pictures and removing the post-its and maxi pads one by one. It was the funniest thing I have ever seen, especially because we were hiding in a car that was parked two rows back and she didn't see us!
Friday at work she was walking around and asking everyone there where abouts on Thursday night and asking, "Have you purchased any post-it notes lately?" I wasn't working, but Sarah said that she was doing everything in her power to figure out who did it. She even bribed the security guard with free dinner if she could find the footage of who it was. Well since we all know that I have a horrible poker face I was terrified to go to work tonight because I knew I was the only one she hadn't asked. So sure enough I walk in and she says, "Gina, we need to talk." She did her little investigation and I successfully lied and said, " You really think I have the balls to pull that off, really? Do you know me?" To which she responded, "Yah who am I kidding you could never pull that off!" HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA amazing she still has no idea and will probably never find out! SOOOOOOOOOO great! Also I have awesome pics, but since I am technologically challenged I can't figure out how to get them off my phone and onto my computer so I will just have to show you when I'm in town! I hope all of you have a wonderful Easter with your families! Love you all and can't wait to see you soon!

1. Britney, I am pretty sure that is the definition of mortified! lol You were just trying to get you a piece. lol Ohhhh thanks for the laugh!

2. Lindsay, that just made me cry. I seriously was sitting there last night and read someone's status and was like "Oh my gosh! It's Dance Blue weekend!" I can't believe a year ago we were dancing our little tired feet away. It really is 24 hours we will never forget. I think I am even more proud today than I was a year ago that we took part in such an inspiring event! Besides that, I miss being at UK with you all in general. Everything about it. I never realized then, that I was living some of the best days of my life! I love and miss you all so much :)

I'd rather be dancing for 24 straight hours!!

Hiii friends! I think the blog is feeling pretttty neglected so I decided to change that. First, hilarious story Britney. Ok, now to business. I am having a feel sorry for me (and you all) kind of day. As we all know, it's DanceBlue weekend. Which means, one year ago we were there and our feet were hurting and we were miserable and we smelled and we were laughing at everything because we were a little bit crazy and I found out I got into UofL and we watched the Cats lose (again) while doing handstands to relieve the pressure from our feet and we cried like idiots when those precious kids were up there and Gina cheated and rested on her knees during a picture (haha) and then we swore that we would NEVER do that again even though it was a great experience "once was enough." Well I would like to be the first to say...I take that all back. I would go and stand for 48 hours right now to be able to do it again. I mean think about how much fun we had. I don't know about you, but I haven't done Jazzercise at 3 am since then, and I think I could use some of that in my life. I mean even if it was by the one lady whose pants were a little too tight in certain...ummm...areas. I've been reading everyone's status' and it seems like it's pretty huge this year. I am pretty sure I read somewhere that they had already made over $1,000,000 before it even started. So great and so proud to say that I was a part of it once!! I guess I am just really stressed out (got a D on a test [ouch] but so did everyone else so we have to retake it and read a whole book by Thursday) and I think the idea of not having to do anything but stand with my BFFs for a whole day seems like awesome times for everyone. Anyway, so I thought I'd share all these things with you all because it kinda made me happy and sad but really brought back great memories!!! I'll start with the DB video for this year (get your tissues ready!!)...

Ok and now here are some of our great memories from the 24 hours!!

Ready for a great 24 hours!!

Having some fun during 80's Prom Hour...

If I remember correctly this is with about 10 hours left...

And now we are hurting...bad...

But all for Kennedy!! So worth it!!! (and proof Gina didn't make it the whole time ;])

WOOOHOOOOOOO!!!!!!

And now for the real kicker...the Line Dance... I think I still hear it in my sleep! I don't think I really understood what a great thing it was that we were doing! But it kinda just hit me. It may have seemed like just a small thing, but it was huge to those kids and their families! Love you all :)

Sister-in-Law....ohhhh how I love you

I am soooo excited to be blogging for the very first time!!!
So if your thinking that this must mean something exciting/embarrassing/wonderful/terrifying happened to me today....you are absolutely right! Well mostly just embarrassing....let me explain!!!
Sooooo....I had been studying all day (PT school has completely consumed my life) while Byron had gone to the UK game with his family and back to his parents house for dinner. I had really started to get bored and "lonely"...being at home by myself all day!! So I started texting Byron...........

Britney: "what time do you think you will be home?"
Byron: "I don't know, when will you be done studying?"
Britney: "I will quit studying whenever you get home, but I am going to try to go to bed by 11 so I can get up in the morning and study. I would like for you to be home before I am asleep ;)
Byron: "Ok babe... I will try to be there before then ;)
Britney: "You won't regret it if you come home before then ;) ;)

Apparently, after Byron sent the "ok babe" message.....he let Rachael (his sister) use his phone, because he thought we were done texting. Sooooo, Rachael read my "you wont regret it if you come home before then ;)" Then she proceded to read the message out loud to Byron's entire family, including his parents, his aunt and uncle, and multiple cousins.....then sent me this text from Byron's phone......

Byron: "FYI, this is Rachael, I was using Byron's phone and just got your message...I read it to the family and everyone laughed loudly. Byrons face turned bright red!! haha we love you

Well, as Gina would say....I was MORTIFIED!!! And poor Byron.....I can't imagine how he felt haha Needless to say, he no longer had a reason to come home early because the mood was completely ruined hahaha
So the moral of this story, Sister-in-laws are wonderful!! oh and husbands are stupid for letting people borrow their phone in the middle of conversations haha

I hope everyone is doing great!! I miss you all soooo much!!
